CAR was part of the “IT Bages” Award jury, given to the best dissertation of the ICT Systems Engineering Degree of EPSEM.

Yesterday the EPSEM’s class of 2021 graduation gala took place, being part of the Catalonian Polytechnic University.

The event was more special than usual, as it was the first face-to-face meeting after the pandemic and in which Inforserveis was able to be present, not only accompanying the 188 participants, but also as members of the IT Bages Award jury. An award that gives 1000 euros to the best degree dissertation and that, in this edition, went to David Márquez Fàbrega, author of the ‘Modular IoT’ project.

Our CEO, Pau Barca, was part of the deciding jury of this award, in which innovation and execution were some of the decision points.

As a novelty, the event included the graduation of the first edition of the Automotive Engineering degree. A source of talent and inspiration, which is part of the EPSEM-UPC initiative to develop new academic programs adapted to the reality of the market.

A pioneering commitment that has been reaffirmed as the UPC of Manresa is the first Catalan Public University to teach this Degree.
