The year has ended and it is time to review some of the most gratifying initiatives that we joined a few months ago. In particular, we are talking about our participation in the first edition of Avanza Motor, an online event that brought together the main participants in the automotive aftermarket sector, where CAR had the pleasure of being present. 

More than 550 users attended the event, which consisted of three sessions held in July, October and December. And it was in the one entitled “Digitalisation and mobility in the Aftermarket”, in which our CEO, Pau Barca, had the honour of collaborating as a speaker. 

During the meeting, each of the speakers helped create a reliable portrait of the current situation  of automotive workshops, as well as their possible evolution. “The same process has been going on for 40 years now, but a lot has changed in those 40 years. There are many processes within the workshop to digitise and not all of them are easy to do, but it is possible and it is a cultural challenge, said Pau Barca.

Digitalisation is a key point in the adaptation of workshops to today’s society, which now consumes differently than it used to. Adapting to the digital environment not only means ensuring customer convenience, but also saves time and money in processes that are unnecessary today.

“We needed a tool that would bring us into the 21st century”, he commented at the event held in July. “ARES allows us to be more efficient: what we do well, we enhance it more, what we don’t, we correct it as soon as possible”.
